Taipei, This year's Computex Taipei, one of the world's largest information communications technology exhibitions, will showcase five cutting-edge technology trends -- artificial intelligence (AI), 5G, Internet of Things (IoT), virtual reality (VR), and blockchain technology, organizers said Wednesday.
A total of 1,602 exhibitors from 30 countries will be at the five-day event to present technology linked in some way to those five trends, representatives of a Computex Taipei co-organizer, the Taipei Computer Association, said at a pre-show press conference.
The exhibition will also feature InnoVEX and SmarTEX, smaller shows taking place throughout the week that focus on innovative new businesses and their gadgets, and smart IoT solutions, respectively.
Also at Wednesday's press conference, Computex Taipei organizers revealed 35 winners of the Best Choice Award. The winners will have their own pavilion at the exhibition, and the grand prize winner will be announced at the show's opening ceremony.
Computex Taipei runs from June 5 to June 9.
