Eleven receipts issued by businesses around Taiwan for the January-February Uniform Invoice Lottery had the winning number 18927486, and will each receive the NT$10 million (US$363,320) special prize, including one issued for the purchase of a NT$7 plastic container, the Ministry of Finance reported Thursday.
A total of 12 receipts had the winning number 82050976 for the NT$2 million grand prize and 30 won the NT$1 million cloud invoice prize, the ministry’s Taxation Administration said.
Five of the 11 receipts with the winning numbers for the special prize were issued for purchases of no more than NT$100, it said.
Three of the 11 receipts for the special prize were cloud invoice awards, while five of the 12 receipts for the grand prize were also cloud-based.
According to the Taxation Administration, one of the winning receipts for the special prize was issued in Datong District in Taipei for the purchase of a plastic container costing NT$7, the receipt with the second-lowest amount was for NT$50 issued at a MacDonald’s in Songshan District in Taipei.
Of the 12 receipts that won the NT$2 million grand prize, one was issued for the purchase of a plastic bag for only NT$1 at a 7-11 convenience store in Madou District in Tainan.
Another grand prize winning receipt was issued for a NT$1,035 purchase of masks via Shopee e-commerce platform, which was donated by the buyer to a charity group, according to the Taxation Administration.
