Some of the sandbags have gone under the flood barrier, affecting 4 communities: Tai That Community, Soi 1-8, Mi Chai Community, Chom Mani Community, and Nong Bua Community, with approximately 1,000 households and a population of approximately 3,000 people. Mr. Alongkorn Ratchamethi, Deputy Mayor of Nong Khai Municipality, said that if based on the forecast of the Office of National Water Resources, the Mekong River will reach its highest point at noon tomorrow at a level of 13 meters 86 centimeters. After that, the water level will gradually decrease.Meanwhile, while people were hoping that the Mekong River would drop, it turned out that last night, heavy rain fell, more than 100 millimeters, for almost 3 hours, causing flooding on the economic road, Prachaksilpakom.
