Hanwha Systems swings to profits in Q2

Hanwha Systems Co. on Thursday reported its second-quarter net profit of 74.7 billion won (US$58.7 million), shifting from a loss of 46.4 billion won a year earlier.

Operating profit for the April-June period was 25.9 billion won, up 57.9 percent from a year ago, the company said in a regulatory filing. Revenue rose 19.6 percent to 610.7 billion won.
