Parliament, His Majesty the King has issued a royal command appointing 'Mongkol' as the President of the Senate, along with 'Gen. Kriangkrai' as the 1st Vice President of the Senate and 'Boonsong' as the 2nd Vice President of the Senate.At 11.18 am at the Parliament, there was a ceremony to receive the royal command appointing the president and vice president of the Senate. Members of the Senate, the secretary-general of the Senate, executives, civil servants, and participants lined up to receive the royal command.Then, Mrs. Natcharee Anantasin, Secretary-General to the Cabinet, invited the royal command to pay respect in front of the royal portrait and invited the royal command to place in front of the royal portrait. In accordance with the powers under Section 116 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, His Majesty has graciously appointed the President and Vice President of the Senate as follows:1. Mr. Mongkol Surassajja is the President of the Senate. 2. General Kriangkrai Srirak is the 1st Vice President of the Senate.3.
