Hon Hai Sales Surpass NT$8 Trillion Mark in 2025 for the First Time

Taipei: Taiwan-based manufacturing giant Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., known as Foxconn globally, achieved annual sales exceeding NT$8 trillion for the first time in 2025.

According to Focus Taiwan, the company's growth was primarily driven by robust revenue in its cloud and networking operations.

In a statement, Foxconn reported consolidated sales of NT$8.0998 trillion (US$257 billion) in 2025, marking an 18.07 percent increase from the previous year. The company attributed its sales growth not only to its cloud and networking division but also to significant gains in its electronics component operations. However, there was a decline in sales within the computing and smart consumer electronics divisions.

Foxconn's consolidated sales reached a record high of NT$2.6 trillion in the fourth quarter, up 22.07 percent year-on-year and 26.51 percent quarter-on-quarter. At a mid-November investor conference, Hon Hai Chairman Young Liu projected that AI server rack shipments would witness a "high double-digit" growth rate quarter-on-quarter, bolstering overall sales growth in 2025.

In December, the company recorded consolidated sales of NT$862.86 billion, the highest ever for the month, representing a 31.77 percent increase from the previous year and a 2.2 percent increase from the previous month. Looking forward, Hon Hai anticipates continued growth in AI server rack shipments, despite the information and communications technology industry entering its slowest season in the first quarter. The company acknowledged that first-quarter sales growth might be impacted by a high base of comparison from the previous year but expected revenue to approach the higher end of the past five-year range.

Meanwhile, Largan Precision Co., a supplier of smartphone camera lenses to Apple Inc., reported consolidated sales of NT$61.15 billion in 2025, a 3 percent increase from the prior year. Despite achieving annual sales growth, Largan experienced a 5 percent decline in fourth-quarter consolidated sales from the previous year, amounting to NT$17.22 billion, a 3 percent drop from the previous quarter. Largan anticipates January sales to fall below December's NT$5.62 billion due to slow season effects. The company has scheduled an investor conference for January 8 to discuss its fourth-quarter results and provide guidance for 2026.
