First, the number of employed people in January was 11.48 million, an increase of 4,000 or 0.04% from the previous month.
Second, the number of unemployed in January was 434,000, a decrease of 2,000 or 0.43% from the previous month.
3. The number of non-labor workers in January was 8.25 million, an increase of 1,000 or 0.01% from the previous month.
Fourth, the labor force participation rate in January was 59.09%, which was the same as last month.
5. The unemployment rate in January was 3.64%, down 0.02 percentage points from the previous month and 0.01 percentage points from the same month of the previous year. The unemployment rate after adjusting for seasonal changes was 3.72%, up 0.02 percentage points from the previous month.
