Kaohsiung:A magnitude 4.5 earthquake struck off the coast of southern Taiwan at 4:41 p.m. on Tuesday, as reported by the Central Weather Administration (CWA).
According to Focus Taiwan, the earthquake's epicenter was located at sea, approximately 42.4 kilometers south-southwest of Kaohsiung City Hall, at a depth of 34.1 kilometers.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries following the quake. The intensity was measured at 3 on Taiwan's 7-tier intensity scale in Kaohsiung, while Pingtung County recorded an intensity of 2, as stated by the CWA.
