Officials continue to reinforce sandbags to block water in front of 'Phra That La Nong' continuously, but still have problems with water leaking through the sandbags and water gushing out of the pipes.The Mekong River current hit sandbags, causing the water barrier to collapse in front of Phra That La Nong on the Mekong River in Nong Khai Municipality yesterday evening and at 2 a.m. This caused both officials and villagers to come out to fill sandbags and place them to strengthen them throughout the night, continuing until now. They widened the base to 5 rows and placed water-filled barriers to push them up. Meanwhile, the Mekong River is still not stable, rising and falling at around 13 meters 82 centimeters, 1 meter 62 centimeters higher than the low-lying bank.
