Taipei: Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of artificial intelligence chip designer Nvidia, has arrived in Taiwan to engage in discussions with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) about his company's new products. This visit marks Huang's third trip to Taiwan this year.
According to Focus Taiwan, shortly after landing at Taipei Songshan Airport, Huang informed reporters of his plans to meet with top executives at TSMC. The discussions will focus on Nvidia's latest virtual reality-related chips and the company's strategy to launch new devices, including Spectrum-X Phonics switches.
Huang expressed high regard for TSMC, describing it as "one of the greatest companies in the history of humanity." He further revealed that Nvidia is collaborating with TSMC on the development of six new chips. These include a central processing unit, a graphics processing unit, and NVilink chips for use in switch production.
