Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) recommends the following methods for installing a leakage circuit breaker:1. It has the Thai Industrial Standards (TIS) mark as a certification.TIS 909-2005 for Residual Current Circuit Breakers with Overcurrent Protection Devices (RCBO)TIS 2452-2017 for Residual Current Circuit Breakers (RCCB) without Overcurrent Protection DevicesTIS 2955-2019 Leakage circuit breakers for DC loads such as electric vehicles (EVs)2. Must have a leakage current rating of no more than 30 milliamperes (mA) to prevent danger from electric shock.3. Must be installed with a ground wire.The ground wire will help conduct the leakage current to the ground without causing harm to the person touching the equipment and help the overcurrent/leakage protection device to work effectively.Source: Thai News Agency
