Taipei--President Tsai Ing-wen (???) has nominated Chen Tsi-yang (???), a law professor at National Taipei University, as a member of the Examination Yuan, the Presidential Office said on Thursday.
The nomination requires the approval of the Legislative Yuan.
Chen will fill the vacancy left by Pu Chung-cheng (???), who resigned on Feb. 1, according to Presidential Office spokesman Alex Huang (???).
Chen was formerly a member of the petitions and appeals committees of the Executive Yuan, Judicial Yuan, Control Yuan and has served on the Legal Affairs Committee of the Examination Yuan since 2010, the Presidential Office said.
