NACC, NACC opens asset account of "Issaree", no longer an Ombudsman, wealth 54.2 million baht, collects guns and Buddha images.The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) has opened an asset and debt account in the case of Mr. Issaree Harsacharoenroj, who left his position as Ombudsman on May 22, 2024. Mr. Issaree and his spouse, Ms. Ueampon Sattabhut, who are retired civil servants of the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation, Ministry of Interior, reported total assets of 54,275,420 baht with no debts.It is Mr. Issaree's assets of 26,047,327 baht, divided into 12 deposit accounts of 7,080,627 baht, investments in various open-ended funds, cooperative shares totaling 16,126,700 baht, land of 500,000 baht, other assets of 2.34 million baht, reporting annual income of 2,403,538 baht, annual expenses of 370,000 baht.As for Ms. Ueampon, she has total assets of 28,228,044 baht, not including deposits in 13 accounts, 10,143,511 baht, investments in various funds and cooperative shares of 1,794 ,583 baht, 2 plots of land in Chanthaburi and Chachoengsao provinces, valued at 7.1 million baht, houses and structures, decorated houses in Chanthaburi and condominiums in Bangkok, valued at 7 million baht, vehicles of 1.6 million baht, other assets of 590,000 baht, reported annual income of 280,544 baht, annual expenses of 303,000 baht.Other interesting assets of the couple include 17 gold rings with diamonds worth 510,000 baht, 12 watches worth 1.16 million baht, 3 gold necklaces with amulets weighing a total of 12 baht worth 180,000 baht, 79 Buddha statues and images worth 230,000 baht, a Smith and Wesson pistol, 9 baht gold bracelets, 3 bracelets worth 130,000 baht, 8 gold necklaces with amulets weighing a total of 10 baht worth 150,000 baht, 10 watches worth 130,000 baht.Mr. Issaree had previously declared his assets and liabilities upon assuming the position of Ombudsman on May 25, 2021, stating that he and his spouse had total assets of 50,484,007 baht, of which Mr. Issaree's assets were 21,698,35 0 baht and Ms. Ueampron's assets were 28,785,657 baht.Source: Thai News Agency
