Samsung C andT Corp. on Wednesday reported its first-quarter net income of 822.1 billion won (US$600.5 million), up 9.3 percent from a year earlier.The company said in a regulatory filing that operating profit for the January-March period rose 11.2 percent on-year to 712.3 billion won.
