South Korean boy band Seventeen has clinched the Best Group award at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards in New York.The award, previously known as Group of the Year, has been dominated by K-pop acts in recent years. The prize honors the best artist from among those chosen for the U.S. music channel's "MTV Push" campaign, which features interviews and other content with a different artist each month.The group showcased its new tracks "Crazy" and "1-800-hot-n-fun" during the ceremony's preshow.This year's MTV VMAs saw Taylor Swift as the night's biggest winner, claiming seven awards, including Video of the Year, Artist of the Year and Best Pop.Source: Yonhap News Agency
