Taipei: The lead stories in major Taiwan dailies on Friday covered a range of significant international and domestic matters, reflecting ongoing political and economic developments.



According to Focus Taiwan, the United Daily News reported that U.S. media sources have claimed former President Donald Trump approved an attack on Iran, underscoring tensions in international relations. Meanwhile, the China Times focused on domestic political affairs, highlighting Hsiao Bi-khim’s commitment to upholding the status quo and defending the ROC Constitution.



Further domestic legal developments were reported by the Liberty Times, which revealed that Lin Ming-chang, the chief of the KMT Yilan County chapter, along with 11 others, has been indicted, marking a significant event in local governance and legal proceedings.



On the economic front, the Economic Daily News and Commercial Times provided insights into the U.S. Federal Reserve’s policy stance.
