Taipei: Taiwan shares ended down 148.27 points, or 0.54 percent, at 27,063.68 Wednesday on turnover of NT$452.51 billion (US$14.79 billion).

According to Focus Taiwan, the market experienced a decline in share prices, closing 0.54% lower. The total turnover for the day amounted to NT$452.51 billion, equivalent to US$14.79 billion.
