Taipei: Taiwan shares ended up 755.23 points, or 2.57 percent, at 30,105.04 Monday on turnover of NT$765.81 billion (US$24.40 billion).
According to Focus Taiwan, the significant increase in the Taiwan Stock Exchange was reflected in the substantial turnover, indicating robust trading activity.
Market analysts observed that the rise was supported by strong performance in several key sectors, contributing to the overall growth. The upward trend marked a positive start for the week, with investors showing confidence in the market.
