Taipei:The Taiwan Stock Exchange's main index began trading Thursday with an increase of 21.85 points, reaching 47,961.98.According to Focus Taiwan, the turnover at the start of trading was reported to be NT$11.24 billion, equivalent to approximately US$352.16 million.
