Seoul:"Had I Not Seen the Sun," a Taiwanese coming-of-age mystery romance, received the award for best series at the 2026 Seoul International Drama Awards in South Korea.
According to Focus Taiwan, the producer of the series, Phoebe Ma, accepted the award during the ceremony. Ma expressed the challenges faced in telling the story and thanked the cast and crew for their contributions to the show's success.
The 20-episode drama, which premiered in two parts on Netflix at the end of 2025, features actors Tseng Jing-hua and Alice Ko. The series is also up for six awards at Taiwan's 61st Golden Bell Awards, including best actor and actress, scheduled for October 24.
Earlier this year, Tseng Jing-hua won best actor at South Korea's Global OTT Awards for his role in the series. The show is set to compete in several categories at the upcoming Asian Television Awards in Ho Chi Minh City in November and the Asian Academy Creative Awards in Singapore in December.
