Taiwan’s Chan and China’s Jiang Defeated in Cleveland WTA Event Finals

Cleveland: Taiwanese tennis player Chan Hao-ching and her Chinese partner Jiang Xinyu were unable to secure their first title as a doubles team, falling in the final of the Tennis in the Land event in straight sets.

According to Focus Taiwan, the duo, seeded second in the tournament, faced off against the top-seeded pair of Anna Danilina from Kazakhstan and Aleksandra Krunic from Serbia. The match concluded with a score of 7-6 (3), 6-4 in favor of Danilina and Krunic, lasting 1 hour and 35 minutes.

The victory added to Danilina's tally, marking her 11th career WTA doubles title, while Krunic celebrated her eighth, with this being their first success as a team. Despite the loss, the runner-up finish was a significant achievement for Chan and Jiang, who began their partnership earlier this summer at the 2025 Wimbledon Championships.
