Gen. Surachet Hakpal, Deputy Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai Police, who was ordered to temporarily resign from the civil service. The order was carried out in accordance with the principles and methods set by the law and the Royal Thai Police Commission (RTP) regulations, and it was an appropriate exercise of discretion, so it was a lawful order. He said that he had heard that a clear resolution had been made and that he was waiting for the Office of the Prime Mi nister to coordinate the matter. If the resolution is final, he would submit it for royal endorsement.When asked if Pol. Gen. Surachet would have to wait for this step if he filed a petition to the Administrative Court to object to the ruling, the Prime Minister said that that was another matter. It was Pol. Gen.
