Taipei: The U.S. dollar increased in value against the Taiwan dollar on Wednesday, closing with a gain of NT$0.050 to reach NT$31.668.

According to Focus Taiwan, the trading session saw a total turnover of US$2.556 billion. The U.S. dollar began the day at NT$31.630 and fluctuated within a range of NT$31.625 to NT$31.698 before the market closed.
