Taipei: The U.S. dollar fell against the Taiwan dollar Thursday, shedding NT$0.089 to close at NT$31.251. Turnover in the Taipei forex market amounted to US$1.888 billion during the trading session.

According to Focus Taiwan, the greenback opened at the day’s high of NT$31.320. It then moved to a low of NT$31.202 before rebounding to its closing rate. The fluctuation in the value of the U.S. dollar throughout the day reflected the ongoing trade activities and market dynamics in Taipei.
