Taipei: The U.S. dollar experienced a downturn against the Taiwan dollar on Friday, declining by NT$0.013 to finish the trading session at NT$31.618.

According to Focus Taiwan, the total turnover for the day reached US$1.907 billion. The session saw the greenback opening at NT$31.580, with fluctuations ranging from NT$31.560 to NT$31.687 before the market closed.
