Taipei: The U.S. dollar experienced a significant rise against the Taiwan dollar on Monday, increasing by NT$0.205 to close at the day’s high of NT$29.734.

According to Focus Taiwan, the turnover during the trading session amounted to US$1.432 billion. The greenback began the day at a low of NT$29.570 but gained momentum towards the end of the session.
