Taipei: The U.S. dollar rose sharply against the Taiwan dollar on Monday, gaining NT$0.136 to close at NT$32.251. The trading session saw a total turnover of US$1.073 billion.According to Focus Taiwan, the greenback opened at the day's low of NT$32.140 and moved to a high of NT$32.300 before the close. This marked a significant rise in the value of the U.S. dollar against the Taiwan dollar in the Taipei forex market.
