Taipei: The U.S. dollar experienced a significant drop against the Taiwan dollar, closing down NT$0.122 at NT$32.046 on Friday.

According to Focus Taiwan, the trading session saw a turnover totaling US$2.228 billion. The U.S. dollar began the day at its peak value of NT$32.150 and dropped to a low of NT$31.991 before making a rebound.
