Taipei:The U.S. dollar appreciated against the Taiwan dollar on Tuesday, closing at NT$31.876 with an increase of NT$0.096.

According to Focus Taiwan, the trading session saw a total turnover of US$2.043 billion.

The U.S. dollar began the day at NT$31.800, fluctuating between NT$31.760 and NT$31.925 throughout the session.
