TAIPEI: The U.S. dollar appreciated against the Taiwan dollar on Thursday, closing at NT$32.868. This marked an increase of NT$0.087 from the previous day's close, reflecting a strengthening of the greenback in the Taipei forex market.

According to Focus Taiwan, the trading session saw a turnover of US$1.217 billion. The U.S. dollar commenced trading at NT$32.810 and fluctuated between NT$32.761 and NT$32.899 throughout the session before settling at its closing value. The performance indicates continued interest and activity in currency trading between the two nations.
