Taipei, Comfortable weather can be expected around Taiwan on Monday as temperatures continue to warm up, the Central Weather Bureau (CWB) said.
Daytime highs were forecast at 25-26 degrees Celsius in northern and eastern Taiwan, and 27-29 degrees in the center and south, according to the bureau.
The CWB, however, warned of big differences between daytime and nighttime temperatures, which it said may exceed 10 degrees across most of the country.
Temperatures are expected to rise further on Tuesday and Wednesday before a moist front approaches on Thursday, bringing sporadic showers to eastern Taiwan and mountainous areas of western Taiwan, the bureau said.
The front will arrive in Taiwan on Friday, raising the chances of rain all over the country, the CWB added.
