(July 20, 2024), the system was back to normal. However, at 09.00 hrs., the system malfunctioned again before returning to normal operation since 11.00 hrs. Currently, it was found that the passenger queue and check-in time have returned to normal.Mr. Kirati continued that from the incident, it was found that about 200 airlines were affected, but all flights were able to operate. Only some flights were delayed by 1-3 hours, and only one flight was canceled, the Bangkok-Osaka route on July 20 at 10:00 a.m., which is consistent wi th the airline's announcement that no passengers were left behind on any flights. Only some passengers requested to change flights and request a refund, which can be done according to the regulations of the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand.Mr. Keerati added that AOT has measures to support such incidents by maintaining the rights of passengers to change flights or request a refund of fares, including ordering additional personnel to be prepared to handle the situation over the next 3 days in case of repeated system failures.
