Taipei: Taiwan shares ended down 44.52 points, or 0.16 percent, at 27,949.11 Tuesday on turnover of NT$533.03 billion (US$17.41 billion).

According to Focus Taiwan, the stock market in Taiwan experienced a slight decline, closing the day with a reduction in both points and percentage.

The total turnover for the day stood at NT$533.03 billion, equivalent to US$17.41 billion. Despite the decrease, the market maintained substantial activity, reflecting ongoing trading interest among investors.
