Taipei: Taiwan shares ended down 129.27 points, or 0.66 percent, at 19,338.73 Thursday on turnover of NT$251.14 billion (US$7.7 billion).

According to Focus Taiwan, the market saw a decrease in its overall value as it closed lower at the end of the trading session. The turnover for the day was recorded at NT$251.14 billion, equating to approximately US$7.7 billion.
