Taipei:Taiwan shares closed down 529.15 points, or 1.13 percent, finishing at 46,292.93. The turnover for the day was NT$758.68 billion (US$23.35 billion).
According to Focus Taiwan, the market experienced a decline by the end of trading on Tuesday.
