Taipei: Warm and predominantly dry weather conditions are anticipated across Taiwan on Thursday, with daytime temperatures in the western regions expected to reach between 31 and 32 degrees Celsius, continuing until next Tuesday. Under the influence of southeasterly winds, most of Taiwan will experience partly cloudy to sunny skies, though the eastern regions and the Hengchun Peninsula in the south may see scattered showers.
According to Focus Taiwan, daytime temperatures on Thursday will rise above 32 degrees in the mountainous areas of central, southern, and western Taiwan, while the eastern regions will observe temperatures ranging from 27 to 28 degrees. Overnight, the mercury is expected to drop to lows of 18-21 degrees across Taiwan.
The weather is forecasted to become cloudy on Friday, with increased moisture levels anticipated on Saturday. A weather front is predicted to pass through Taiwan on Sunday, bringing sporadic showers and thunderstorms to northern Taiwan, while other areas will remain cloudy

Another weather front is expected next Tuesday, bringing similar conditions with scattered showers and thunderstorms likely in central, northern, and northeastern Taiwan, and sporadic rain in the east. From April 24 to 26, increased moisture in the air may lead to sporadic thundershowers, and the weather across Taiwan is expected to turn cooler.
During the period from Friday through next Tuesday, daytime highs are projected to be 31 to 32 degrees in the western half of Taiwan, 28 to 30 degrees in the east, and 26 to 30 degrees on the outlying islands. By next Wednesday, northern Taiwan may experience a temperature drop to 24 degrees, with other areas seeing a decrease of 2-4 degrees.
