Taiwan’s AerosoarX and Ukraine’s UFORCE Sign MOU to Strengthen Supply Chains

Taipei:Taiwan's AerosoarX has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Ukrainian company UFORCE to collaborate on strengthening supply chains, specifically by identifying alternative component suppliers.

According to Focus Taiwan, the agreement establishes a framework for leveraging Taiwan's advanced technology and manufacturing capabilities to aid UFORCE in diversifying its component suppliers, thereby aiming to create a more flexible and resilient supply chain.

The partnership is timely, as the global unmanned vehicle industry is currently grappling with challenges such as limited access to essential components, a heavy reliance on a small number of suppliers, and uncertainties surrounding production capacities and delivery schedules. AerosoarX Chairman Lo Cheng-fang highlighted the ongoing difficulties faced by companies in the unmanned systems sector in securing reliable supplies of critical components.

Through this agreement, AerosoarX hopes to address these challenges by employing Taiwan's technological and manufacturing strengths to meet UFORCE's global needs. UFORCE, known for its expertise in unmanned systems technology, develops platforms for maritime, land, and aerial applications and specializes in AI software and command-and-control systems.

While UFORCE focuses on autonomous systems and software integration, AerosoarX is set to provide access to Taiwan's robust semiconductor, electronic component, communications, and precision manufacturing industries. The companies will explore potential suppliers and consider collaborative opportunities under the MOU.

AerosoarX aims to enhance its supplier coordination capabilities by connecting Taiwanese manufacturers with international suppliers, simultaneously advancing in AI computing, advanced communications, and critical component development. The agreement is part of AerosoarX's strategy to build international partnerships through Taiwan's technology industry, contributing to the global unmanned vehicle sector's growth.
