The Small Industry Credit Guarantee Corporation (TCG) visited Chiang Rai to help and rehabilitate flood victims, visited businesses, gave encouragement and listened to the problems of affected TCG customers, and emphasized the relief measures of ‘6-month fee payment suspension and 3-month debt payment suspension.’
Mr. Sittikorn Direksunthon, Director and General Manager of TCG, revealed that yesterday (September 17), the TCG team went to Chiang Rai Province to donate money to help and rehabilitate flood victims. Mr. Wanchai Chongsutthanamanee, Mayor of Chiang Rai Municipality, was the representative to receive the donation to alleviate the hardships of people in Chiang Rai Municipality, which has affected more than 7,000 households, who are facing problems with living expenses, are homeless, and lack consumer goods. In addition, TCG also visited businesses and gave encouragement to customers, donating rehabilitation equipment in both Mae Sai and Mueang Districts, such as Thanam Phu Lae Co., Ltd., owner of t
he ‘Thanam Phu Lae’ restaurant, and B4 Mae Sai Metal Sheet Co., Ltd.
Previously, on September 16, SBG donated 100 packs of drinking water to help flood victims to MCOT, which collaborated with the ‘Good Organization Foundation’ to open a donation center for consumer goods to help flood victims in Chiang Rai Province and other affected provinces in Thailand at the MCOT Public Company Limited broadcasting building.
The SME Bank has also issued urgent measures to help customers and SME Bank debtors from the flood in 2024 to alleviate the suffering of those affected through the crisis by suspending payment of fees for 6 months for customers and suspending payment of debt installments for 3 installments for debtors. Currently, there are a total of 25,579 customers participating in the fee suspension measure, totaling a guarantee of 12,546 million baht.
