Tigerair Taiwan Introduces New Tainan-Okinawa Flight Route

Tainan: Taiwanese airline Tigerair Taiwan has introduced a new flight route connecting Tainan and Okinawa. The service, which began on Thursday, will offer round trips every Thursday and Sunday.

According to Focus Taiwan, Tainan Mayor Huang Wei-che participated in the launch ceremony, warmly greeting travelers arriving in Tainan and presenting them with a commemorative souvenir. This new route is part of the airline's expansion efforts to enhance connectivity between Taiwan and Japan.

In addition to the Tainan-Okinawa route, Tigerair Taiwan also launched the Tainan-Kumamoto route earlier in the week, with flights operating every Tuesday and Friday. The Tainan City government has expressed optimism that these new routes will significantly boost travel, trade, and cultural exchanges between Tainan and southwestern Japan.

The airline further expanded its network with the introduction of the Kaohsiung-Kumamoto route, which also started operations on Tuesday. This service is scheduled to fly every Tuesday and Friday, contributing to the strengthening of regional ties.
