Taipei: The U.S. dollar experienced a significant increase against the Taiwan dollar on Monday, rising by NT$0.242 to close at NT$31.920.

According to Focus Taiwan, the trading session saw a total turnover of US$2.728 billion. The U.S. dollar began the day at its lowest point of NT$31.720 and reached a high of NT$31.952 during trading.
